About Us
My name is Gabriela and I am the owner of Peluqueria Amanda. Why Amanda? The name has an important meaning in my life… of someone who was an inspiration to me and who showed me to never give up on your dreams
I studied here in Lanzarote, and while studying I gained hands-on experience working alongside a hairdresser called Nancy.
After finishing my studies, I moved on to work for Andres Peluqueros, a well-known hairdresser on the island. This was a huge experience for me, training in all areas, while continuing to take multiple courses.
I love everything about working with hair, from cuts and colours, to updo’s and weddings. My goal with all my clients is to make sure that not only do they have the hairstyle they want, but also to assure that their hair is looked after and in good condition.
Over the years I began to realise how much I loved working with blondes. It’s one of the hardest colours to perfect as it requires a lot of skill and care but I loved the challenge. I began to learn and experiment more and more with highlights and colours. I am now a blonde specialist and continue learning to keep up with new techniques.
All my services are dedicated one on one, making sure that I have enough time to care and achieve what I need for my client to leave happy, making sure that all services are as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
