I am the owner of Peluqueria Amanda and have been working as a professional hairdresser for over 10 years.
In 2021 I opened my own place and I absolutely love working for myself as I can spend 1-on-1 time with my clients and make sure they are well cared for.
I work with all types of hair and colours, and I am a specialist in working with Blondes. I have many return clients that love my work.
I studied and graduated on the island of Lanzarote. I then worked for many years at Andres Pelqueros, one of Lanzarote’s top hairdressing salons before deciding to become my own boss. I continue to stay up to date with the best practices, products and new knowledge by regularly attending organised courses and seminars in Las Palmas.
If you are looking for someone who you can trust with your hair, you have come to the right place. I will always be completely honest with you and give you my professional opinion based on years of experience and expertise. If you are struggling with ideas and need some inspiration, I am happy to offer my opinion and advice and together we can find something that you love.
Gabriela’s work is flawless. I felt completely at ease in her presence as it was obvious to me that she totally knows what she is doing. The thing that most stood out to me was the fact that she convinced me TO NOT colour my hair after I told her I was worried I was going grey ( I literally have 1 or 2 grey hairs!).
She looked at my scalp and told me I wasn’t and that it wasn’t necessary to colour it. This could have been easy money for Gabriela as I was totally ready to do it. I really admired and respected her honesty and this showed me that she had my best interest at heart and that I could trust her. Now I’ll always go back.
